The pair's fractious relationship came to a head in August when Noel quit the group, claiming that he "could not go on working with Liam a day longer".
However, Spandau Ballet's Steve Norman declared that the two could settle their differences by using his band as an example.
The '80s pop act were involved in a bitter legal dispute over song royalties throughout the '90s but eventually reconciled and reunited this year.
Norman told The Mirror: "Oasis need to have a punch-up, take each other to court if that's what it takes to get it out of their system. But they are brothers like us and they love each other. Life's too short to hold a grudge."
Bandmate Gary Kemp added: "Oasis need to learn from us. No-one has had more fights than us."
