Girls Aloud: 'Brit was career highlight'

The group's number one 'The Promise' received the most public votes and won the gong for 'British Single', beating off competition from Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida' and Duffy's 'Mercy'.
Discussing the best moment over the past decade, Cheryl Cole told Attitude: "When we won a Brit Award. We'd been together nearly seven years before we won a Brit and doing Wembley Stadium was amazing.
"We never thought we could get this far. We could only have dreamt it."
Girls Aloud, who are currently on a one-year hiatus and will return to the studio next year, signed a new three-album deal with label Fascination Records in February.
