R Kelly confirms new album release date

The R&B star paired up with Keri Hilson for lead single 'Number One', which debuted at number 68 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The track has already shifted over 91,000 digital downloads and the singer has now surpassed Nat King Cole's record by achieving 35 Top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
A second single called 'Religious' has also entered the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at number 95.
Kelly's last studio album Double Up was released in May 2007.
Last year, the 42-year-old was acquitted by a Chicago jury on 14 charges of child pornography.
