MGMT ready new album 'Congratulations'

The duo, made up of Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser, have reportedly spent the past nine months surfing in the Pacific while recording the record in a Malibu home studio.
According to Billboard, the album trails a "bleaker" sound than their debut Oracular Spectacular.
"The song 'Congratulations' itself is pretty dark," VanWyngarden is quoted as saying. "It's us trying to deal with all the craziness that's been going on since our last album took off. Sometimes it just doesn't feel natural."
Congratulations is produced by Pete 'Sonic Boom' Kember of Spacemen 3/Spectrum and features Royal Trux vocalist Jennifer Herrema.
