The rapper, who released fourth album Tongue N Cheek last month, revealed that he intends to do similar live shows in the future.
"I think a lot of people were blown away by what I did. I don't think people were expecting it to be able to come across like that. I was doing old songs as well," he told BBC Newsbeat.
"A lot of my old songs were made on computers with a lot of samples and all that. So I was bringing it back to life again with instruments and that. It's a shock for people.
"To me it's just another sound bed. Rapping over a band or rapping with a DJ or over whatever it is man, whatever needs to be done I'll do it."
The star claimed that he proved his musical versatility by covering Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' at the show.
"It's just having fun with the music and saying, 'Look, I can do different things and that as well'."
Rascal recently embarked on a tour across the UK.
