Sting: 'Police tour would be dreadful'

The warring bandmates put aside their differences to embark on a 14-month world tour in 2007 and 2008, which marked their first live shows together since 1983.
Drummer Stewart Copeland recently refused to rule out a second reformation, telling fans: "I intend to be on the planet here for another 50 years; who knows what'll happen."
However, Contactmusic quotes singer Sting as saying: "With The Police I think we did tie it up. And now it's done. [Another reunion would be] dreadful and gratuitous, and it wouldn't work."
