The R&B star has recorded a track called 'Fire Away' with Buchanan and told London Lite that she would appear on his upcoming third album All Or Nothing, as would Sean Paul and Birdman.
Of the guest stars on the record, Sean said: "They're a surprise. Oh, okay, one of them is Keisha Buchanan.
"We recorded a song while she was still in Sugababes. Did I know she was going to be fired? No, and I don't think she did either."
After her exit from the band, Buchanan admitted that it was not her choice to leave the girl group.
Sean hit number one in the US at the weekend with single 'Down'.
