Robbie Williams has mounted a challenge for Christmas number one by confirming the release of new single 'You Know Me' on December 14.
The track, which was given its radio premiere on Ken Bruce's Radio 2 show last week, is the second track lifted from his upcoming album Reality Killed The Video Star.
The album's lead single 'Bodies' reached number two earlier this month, losing out to last year's X Factor winner Alexandra Burke and her collaboration with Flo Rida 'Bad Boys'.
The X Factor has dominated the Christmas charts since Shayne Ward's 'That's My Goal' reached number one in 2005.
Since then, Leona Lewis's 'A Moment Like This', Leon Jackson's 'When You Believe' and Burke's 'Hallelujah' have all topped the festival countdown.
Williams releases new album Reality Killed The Video Star on November 9.
