The singer, who reached number one with singles 'Hallelujah', 'Bad Boys' and album Overcome, claimed that she has a history of bad luck.
"It doesn't feel real, it feels like I'm about to wake up," she told the Daily Star. "I do worry that things are so perfect it could all go wrong.
"I'm not trying to tempt fate, but usually in my life when something good happens something bad follows.
"I think that is the case for everyone. This business is nerve-wracking because everyone is in competition with each other.
"As far as I'm concerned if I sell, I sell and if I don't, I don't. My destiny has already been chosen, so all I can do is work hard."
