George Michael to release Christmas single

The singer will issue a new version of 'December Song' - a track he gave away on his website last year - as a one-off release on Island Records.
The song, written with longtime collaborator David Austin, will be available on download from December 13 and physically a day later.
Michael releases his Live In London DVD on December 7, thus ending his record deal with Sony Music and leaving him free to sign to Island.
It was recently reported that he is in talks to make an appearance on this year's X Factor final.
