The duo, who were due to peform 'Empire State Of Mind' before the first game at the Yankee Stadium today, had to delay their set because of poor weather conditions.
"The performance was changed due to the forecast for inclement weather for Wednesday, October 28," a statement read.
"Staging for the performance could adversely impact the field if it is wet, creating damaged and unsafe playing conditions."
'Empire State Of Mind', which is taken from Jay-Z's new album The Blueprint 3, has peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100.
