The Cribs have announced that proceeds from their recently-released cover of Kaiser Chiefs' 'Modern Way' will go to charity.
The track was originally recorded in 2005 and released as a B-side to the Wakefield band's single 'Mirror Kissers'. Money raised from the song, available on iTunes now, will go to the Cash For Kids Action On Neglect Appeal.
The organisation supports neglected children in Leeds and West Yorkshire, near to where the group formed.
The Cribs are also due to release a new single from latest album Ignore The Ignorant. 'We Share The Same Skies' is out on November 9.
