The star has so far recruited Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Grohl, Fergie and Cypress Hill to collaborate on tracks for the as-yet-untitled album, expected to be available in early 2010, Contactmusic reports.
However, the LP's first single 'Sahara' is due to be released next week. The song features guest vocals from Japanese singer B'Z and will be accompanied by a new version of Guns N' Roses hit 'Paradise City', which includes an appearance from Fergie.
Slash's side-project Velvet Revolver have now been on hiatus for over a year, after he fired frontman Scott Weiland from their lineup in 2008.
