Sugababe Jade: 'I'm scared of Keisha'

Jade Ewen has admitted that she is nervous over the prospect of bumping into her Sugababes predecessor Keisha Buchanan.

The former Eurovision star, who recently replaced Buchanan in the girl group, told London Lite that she is keen to avoid any confrontation.

Asked if she has ever met Buchanan, the band's new recruit replied: "No. I'm quite scared. [But] I'm sure she wouldn't do anything to me."

She continued: "One of the things I struggled with was being accused of being her friend beforehand and stabbing her in the back - but I've never met her in my life!

"Weirdly, she sent me a friend request on Facebook a couple of weeks before this all happened and I was like, 'Why would Keisha from the Sugababes add me?', and I sent her a message to say hi and never got anything back. Maybe it was a sign."

Buchanan was axed from Sugababes in September following rumoured bust-ups with bandmates Amelle Berrabah and Heidi Range.
