The veteran metal band, who are currently performing in Canada, made a donation of $8,200 (£4,946) to the Ottawa Food Bank and $20,185 (£12,174) to Sun Youth in Montreal, Angry Ape reports.
According to Sun Youth co-founder Sid Stevens, the group had asked for anonymity with their contribution in order to avoid scrutiny from the media.
"It's a beautiful gift," he said. "People sometimes look at groups of this nature in a derogatory or negative manner. But it's very interesting to see them donate in every city they visit."
