The 61-year-old, who fell off the stage during a performance in August, spoke to Classic Rock magazine about his future plans after Aerosmith's recent show at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
"I don't know what I'm doing yet, but it's definitely going to be something Steven Tyler: working on the brand of myself - Brand Tyler," he said.
Band member Joe Perry recently stated that he was "upset" that the group had to cancel their North American tour due to Tyler's injuries from the fall. However, he dismissed rumours that the rockers are about to split.
The ensemble reportedly plan to meet soon to discuss their intentions without Tyler. Guitarist Brad Whitford claimed that they might debate hiring a new frontman.
Whitford explained: "I'm not sure how good that would look, it would largely depend on who we could get and who would want to do it.
"That's big shoes to fill. Nobody could replace Steven or imitate him - he's one of a kind. But if somebody was willing to do it and the chemistry was right, why not?"
