Sugababe Amelle 'rejoins band today'

Sugababes have confirmed reports that Amelle Berrabah will return to the group today after recovering from nervous exhaustion in in an Austrian clinic.

Singer Heidi Range told BBC Newsbeat that she had missed her bandmate in her absence.

Range said: "She feels much better now and is positive and looking forward to getting back into things.

"It's a new challenge, a new start for us and we know we've got to prove ourselves to people but I think it's something that we're excited about now."

She added: "You know she'd been under a lot of pressure and it just took its toll on Amelle.

"I've really missed her and Jade hasn't really had a chance to get to know her properly yet. I think we're over the worst of it now."

New Sugababe Jade Ewen recently revealed that she had only seen Berrabah three times before she was forced to take a break from the group.
