The group, whose self-titled debut is up against Williams's comeback record Reality Killed The Video Star, claimed that they have a chance of beating the former Take That singer.
"There's a chance we could beat Robbie. It's incredible people are even thinking that we might. It's absolutely amazing to be releasing our first album and great to be going up against a giant like Robbie - it's insane. We are over the moon to be part of it," Marvin Humes told the Daily Record.
"Regardless of the final position - whether we get top ten, top five or No.1 - it's still going to be a massive achievement for us."
The four-piece, who are on course to top the singles chart with second single 'Everybody In Love' on Sunday, admitted that performing the track on The X Factor last week had boosted their chance of success.
"It just shows the power of The X Factor. It is an incredible platform for musicians," Jonathan "JB" Gill added.
The track debuted at number two on the Irish singles chart today, one place behind Cheryl Cole's 'Fight For This Love'.
