Taylor Swift has dominated the winners list at the 2009 CMA Awards.

The 19-year-old became the youngest ever singer to win the 'Entertainer of the Year' award and also picked up the gongs for 'Female Vocalist of the Year', 'Music Video of the Year' and 'Album of the Year'.

On picking up the 'Best Album' prize for Fearless, Swift said: "This album is my diary, and so to all the people who voted for me for this, thank you for saying that you like my diary. That's the nicest thing, the nicest compliment."

She added in reference to her altercation with Kanye West at the MTV VMAs: "And I want to thank everybody in the room tonight for not running up on the stage during my speech."

Other winners included Mac Macanally for 'Musician of the Year' and Lady Antebellum for 'Vocal Group of the Year', with their single 'I Run to You' also winning the 'Best Single' prize.

Swift opened the show with a rendition of 'Forever and Always' and other stars who performed on the night included Jamey Johnson with Kid Rock and Martina McBridge's tribute to Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Barbara Mandrell.
