Rihanna promises "darker" new album

The 'Russian Roulette' singer, who releases the new LP on November 23, admitted that it is important that her fans accept her new direction.
"Rated R in comparison to my previous albums is different," she told the Daily Star.
"It's very honest, the sound is darker, I didn't want to make the same album I did last time.
"I pay attention to [the fans'] comments, negative or positive. I want to keep them close with me and I want them to grow with me."
Rihanna previously claimed that UK producers Chase & Status were the "backbone" behind the sound of the new record.
