The trio insisted that they are currently in the process of moving to a new record company, rumoured to be Mercury.
"We haven't been dropped or split up. Our A&R is changing labels and we are going with him," the group wrote on Twitter.
In a further update, the band revealed that they have been working on new material, saying: "In the studio recording with the people who wrote Chipmunk 'Oopsy Daisy'!"
The Dolly Rockers reached number 46 with debut single 'Gold Digger' and follow-up 'Boys Will Be Boys' has been indefinitely postponed.
