Jay-Z and Alicia Keys have toppled electropop act Owl City from the top of the US singles chart.

Their track 'Empire State of Mind' climbs one place from last week, knocking Owl City's 'Fireflies' down to two.

Jason Derulo and Iyaz retain their positions at three and four, while country music group Lady Antebellum make a significant leap from 22 to five.

Singer Ke$ha climbs four places to make her debut in the Top 10 with 'Tik Tok'.

Notable gains outside the Top 10 come from Lady GaGa, who climbs from 18 to 11 with 'Bad Romance', and Leona Lewis's 'Happy', which advances nine places to 58.

Meanwhile, Rihanna's latest single 'Russian Roulette' slips from a peak of nine down to number 16.
