Derulo: 'I'll step my game up for GaGa'

The 20-year-old singer-songwriter, whose debut single 'Whatcha Say' is on course to chart in the top three on Sunday, joins the star's 'Monster Ball' tour on December 27.
"I couldn't have been blessed with a better tour," he told DS. "She's an incredible artist and I think she'll force me to step my game up because she's such a fun performer to watch.
"Lady GaGa has reached the point where she's massive, so she'll have a total production behind her, whereas at this stage in my career I won't have that. I have to think of clever ways to make my show special in its own way."
Derulo, who has written tracks for Pitbull and Iyaz, also revealed that he is keen to collaborate with another iconic female pop artist.
"I'd love to work with Madonna. She was one of my major influences growing up because my mum used to play her round the house," he said.
"My favourite song of hers is 'Frozen'. I like the eerie vibe it's got and the way it makes you feel when you listen to it. I've never felt quite the same way listening to any other song."
