Peter Kay 'to host next Brit Awards'

The Sun claims that Kay has been in talks for weeks about the ceremony, which will take place in February.
"Peter was the clear first choice," a source said. "And everything has now been agreed. It's a special Brits because it's the 30th anniversary so we needed a big name.
"There's no-one with a better pedigree or a better style of delivery which appeals to all ages."
Kay has also signed up to host this year's Royal Variety Performance, which will air on ITV1 in December.
