Little Boots: 'I've had an incredible year'

Little Boots has admitted that she has had an "incredible" year since winning the BBC's Sound of 2009 poll in January.

The singer, who reached number five with her debut album Hands in June, thanked fans on Twitter for their support.

"Been sitting on train thinking what an incredible year it has been. Think it's the first time I've properly reflected. Insane," she wrote.

"Thank u all so much all of my fans and everyone who has supported me and helped enable me to do this, I always find saying stuff like this pretty cheesy but i really do mean it. LOVE & FANKS x x x x"

Little Boots recently claimed that she still found it "weird" being a popstar.
