Gately's husband joins Boyzone on stage

Stephen Gately's husband joined the late singer's old Boyzone bandmates on stage at the weekend.

Andrew Cowles, who was on holiday in Majorca with Gately when he died, was invited up to join Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy at Ronan Keating's Emerald and Ivy Ball in Battersea on Saturday night.

The Sun quotes Keating as telling Cowles: "With you being here tonight, the four of us, Boyzone, feel like five."

Keating also performed alongside Take That star Gary Barlow at the event, which raised £650,000 for Cancer Research UK.

Gately died from an acute pulmonary oedema on October 10.
