Rihanna lands $500k for New Year's bash

The 'Russian Roulette' star will sing at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi this New Year's Eve, according to Page Six.
A spokeswoman for Rihanna did not comment, however a source said: "She was supposed to perform back in May [in Abu Dhabi], but she cancelled in the aftermath of the assault. This is a make-up date."
Previous performances at the hotel by artists such as Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Coldplay and Elton John have attracted up to 15,000 music fans.
