Taio Cruz 'wrote Chris Brown songs'

Taio Cruz has revealed that he wrote a number of songs that were going to be offered to Chris Brown.

The 'No Other One' singer revealed that his management decided not to give the tracks away because it could damage Cruz's attempts to break the US.

"There was some talk about whether my songs should go to Chris now, but I try to just focus on the music," he told the Daily Star.

Brown was charged with assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna following an altercation in March.

According to recent reports, 'The One I Love', Brown's collaboration with Timbaland, has been pulled from the producer's forthcoming Shock Value 2 album.

Brown is scheduled to release his new album Graffiti in the UK on December 7.
