Singer Elly Jackson said that the 'In For The Kill' duo intend to spend the time writing new material, but warned fans not to expect a finished record anytime soon.
"We're going to stay in my manager's house and use the quiet time to our advantage," she told BBC 6 Music.
"We've only got two weeks writing time between Christmas and the summer, so unless we manage to write a record in two weeks I don't think there will be anything in terms of a second record for a while."
Jackson added that she and bandmate Ben Langmaid have "a fairly clear idea" of what direction the second LP will take, saying: "I think there will be a natural instrument or two on there though, which will make a change from the first record."
