Hendrix riff voted 'greatest of all time'

The 1968 song, which featured on Jimi Hendrix Experience album Electric Ladyland, pipped Guns N' Roses' 'Sweet Child O' Mine' to the top spot in the poll conducted by Music Radar.
Led Zeppelin's 'Whole Lotta Love', Deep Purple's 'Smoke On The Water' and Derek and the Dominos' 'Layla' completed the top five respectively.
AC/DC, Metallica, Nirvana, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones also featured in the top ten.
Music Radar editor Mike Goldsmith said: "Our poll seems to indicate one thing - in 2009 classic rock still rules."
