The song, featuring over 100 animated characters, toppled the X Factor charity single from the top spot.
Elsewhere in the chart, Rihanna's 'Russian Roulette' missed out on the top five by entering at number six.
Leona Lewis dropped six places to number ten, while Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' continued to climb up the chart to number five.
Susan Boyle, who secured the number one spot in the albums charts with the record-breaking I Dreamed A Dream, charted at number nine with 'Wild Horses'.
However, despite her appearance on last weekend's X Factor, Mariah Carey missed out on the top ten, entering the charts at number 19.
