The DVD shifted over 157,000 copies in its first week of release, almost three times the amount of the previous record holder Now That's What I Call A Music Quiz.
The double-disc DVD includes the band's Wembley Stadium show in its entirety and a Abbey Road Studio session never seen before.
Take That's previous DVD Beautiful World Live sold 64,000 in its first week and remained at No. 1 on the official UK DVD chart for eight consecutive weeks.
'The Circus Live', which included four dates at London's Wembley stadium, became the fastest-selling tour in UK history after a record 1.2 million people saw the band live.
