Cruz 'wants Cole to release his song'

Taio Cruz has revealed that he hopes Cheryl Cole releases 'Stand Up' as her third solo single.

The singer originally offered Cole his number one song 'Break Your Heart' and also penned a second track, which was included on her 3 Words album.

"I personally want 'Stand Up' to be Cheryl's next single because I think it sounds like a hit, regardless of who was singing," he told the Daily Star.

Cruz added that he has recently been working on new material with McFly.

"I was in the studio with them last week and they play their instruments really well," he said.

"They are all really talented so it was easy to come up with a song together."
