The 'Work' singer has teamed up with producer Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins, who also worked on material for her recent LP Fantasy Ride.
"Me and Ciara cookin up a hot melodic uptempo right now! Its feelin like one of them thangs (sic)," Jerkins wrote on his Twitter.
Ciara has also been working with The-Dream and Christopher 'Tricky' Stewart on the record, which is yet to be given a name or release date.
Fantasy Ride peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 200 in May.
