The 19-year-old singer has been recognised in eight categories, including 'Album Of The Year' for Fearless and 'Song Of The Year' and 'Record Of The Year' for 'You Belong With Me'.
Speaking to The AP, she said: "I started freaking out and jumping up and down.
"I honestly never would have predicted this, eight nominations – I'm ecstatic, and blown away and so, so thankful."
She went on to say that being recognised by the music ceremony was the "ultimate honour" and joked that she could not wait to describe the experience in her journal.
"It will be in all capital letters and underlined four times and there will be lots of exclamation points in this entry because I never imagined I'd get to write this kind of journal entry."
