According to The Sun, the Sunday Night Project comic is going to team up with Boyzone's Ronan Keating for the event.
"I'd be thrilled to represent Ireland and I can't think of anyone better than Ronan to help me," said the 34-year-old comic.
Earlier this year, Collins confirmed that he was planning to release an original lounge music album. Meanwhile, at last month's BBC Children In Need event, he performed a cover of Tom Jones's classic hit 'Delilah'.
