The song 'The Climb' was nominated for its appearance in Hannah Montana: The Movie. However, the nod was later revoked when the nominating panel discovered that it was not originally penned for the film.
'The Climb' was written by Jon Mabe and Jessi Alexander, who shopped the song around to a number of country music artists before it landed in Cyrus's movie, reports Entertainment Weekly.
The official nomination has now gone to the entry with the next highest number of votes, 'All Is Love' by Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, written for Where the Wild Things Are.
