Goulding: 'Mum introduced me to pop'

The Brit Awards 2010 Critics' Choice prize winner and BBC Sound of 2010 nominee also told The Guardian that she found it hard to practise when she lived at home because her house was too small.
Goulding said: "I could only sing when my mum wasn't there.
"I think she had a weird way of supporting and encouraging me, more like an old-fashioned way of 'work hard' rather than 'that's brilliant'."
She added: "My mum really was super into music. It wasn't like she was introducing me to things like Bob Dylan and the Beatles, but she introduced me to pop music.
"I remember when Florence first came out, or the Kooks or Franz Ferdinand, she would always be the first person with their record, and then she would get bored of them and move on to something else."
