Bowie album named 'gayest' of all time

The 1972 record held off competition from Tracy Chapman's self-titled debut and The Smiths in the countdown, which was compiled by gay magazine Out.
Elsewhere, Erasure's 1988 LP The Innocents made it to 13, while George Michael's Faith is listed as the 15th gayest album of all time.
The poll was conducted by asking over 100 gay actors, comedians, musicians, writers, critics, performance artists, label reps and DJs to list the ten most important albums of their lives.
Celebrities including Boy George, Rufus Wainwright, Cyndi Lauper, Perez Hilton, Jake Shears, John Cameron Mitchell, Wilson Cruz, Junior Vasquez and Janis Ian all contributed to the countdown.
