The 'You're Beautiful' singer, who is expected to release the new record in September 2010, revealed that he is working with a string of collaborators on the follow-up to 2007's All The Lost Souls.
"I have a few musicians I'll be collaborating with, not famous but phenomenal," he told the Daily Star.
"I've been playing some of the stuff live and it's a fun album."
Blunt's debut album Back to Bedlam topped the chart in over 13 countries in 2004, selling over 8 million copies worldwide.
