Susan Boyle album 'biggest-seller of 2009'

The record, which has been at the top of the chart for the past four weeks, has so far shifted over 1.4 million copies.
Lady GaGa's The Fame is on course to be the second most successful album of the year, while King's Of Leon's Only By The Night, released in September 2008, is in third place.
"In just four weeks, Susan Boyle has become the biggest album artist in the UK by some margin - an extraordinary achievement for an artist who was totally unknown until last April," said Martin Talbot of the Official Charts Company.
"She has clearly connected with a massive proportion of the British population and is now looking solidly in place to take the title of the biggest album of the year."
