Boyzone: 'New album like Coldplay, U2'

The group, who recorded a number of new songs before the tragic passing of bandmate Stephen Gately in October, revealed that they have recently been working to finish the record.
"We have been locked in 24/7 for most of the past few weeks working on the album," Shane Lynch told the Daily Star.
"As this is our comeback album, we shopped all the songs out to the best writers to make it as good as we possibly could, so I think it's going to be amazing.
"I would describe it as having a live band sound, kind of like Coldplay meets U2."
Boyzone reached number one in the UK and Ireland with all three previous studio albums. Their second greatest hits collection Back Again... No Matter What peaked at number four in October 2008.
