Moby: 'Performing with people is weird'
Published Monday, Dec 28 2009, 16:29 GMT | By Rebecca Davies

The dance artist, who creates his albums entirely on his own, said that he finds it difficult to recreate his material on stage with a band because it feels unnatural.
"There are eight of us on stage so there's a string section and two vocalists and a drummer and me playing keyboards and percussion, guitar and vocals," TVNZ quotes Moby as saying.
"It's quite a big show - which is strange because I make all my records by myself."
He added: "I hate to complain and I've had jobs that I've really hated. At the end of the day, even a bad day of touring is better than stuffing envelopes in the basement of an insurance company - that was the worst job I ever had."
Moby is currently performing in New Zealand.
