Come Dancing originally premiered in 2008, receiving positive reviews and moderate box office success. A new run was announced for next year with Bill Kenwright attached to direct.
However, a statement published today confirms that the musical has now been cancelled.
"Ray is extremely disappointed that the 2010 Come Dancing tour will not be happening," a representative for Davies's studio Konk said.
"[He] will be issuing a statement in due course."
No explanation has been given for the cancellation. Theatres are issuing refunds for those who bought tickets in advance.
