Chris Cornell confirms Soundgarden reunion

The Seattle band, who split in 1997, have officially reunited according to its frontman, Rolling Stone reports.
Cornell announced the Soundgarden reunion via his Twitter account on New Year's Eve and added a link to a new website, www.soundgardenworld.com.
The 45-year-old musician wrote: "The 12-year break is over & school is back in session. Sign up now. Knights of the Soundtable ride again!"
