50 Cent 'wants to sign Jamelia'

50 Cent reportedly wants to sign Jamelia to his US record label G-Unit.

The 'In Da Club' rapper was apparently impressed after meeting Jamelia at the premiere of his movie Dead Man Running in October.

"He thinks she is sexy, talented and has the right personality and talent to be huge in America," a source told The Sun.

"He wants to make her the new first lady of G-Unit, as it has no female artists."

Jamelia has enjoyed seven UK Top 10 singles, including 'Superstar' and 'Thank You'. She has not released any new material since 2007.

Last month, the 28-year-old revealed that she is working on a new record with producers behind recent Lady GaGa, Beyoncé and Usher hits.
