Despite speculation that the veteran rockers are planning to play the festival and embark on a world tour, the group have now declared that they will not be performing any live dates in 2010.
"Following recent UK media speculation, The Rolling Stones would like to make it clear there are no plans at the moment for the band to tour in 2010," a representative for the band told NME.
U2 are currently the only act confirmed for this year's event. However, organiser Emily Eavis said this week that she intends to enlist Dizzee Rascal for the festival.
