The 'Bad Romance' singer, who is currently on the North American leg of her 'Monster Ball' jaunt, is said to have asked the former Culture Club frontman to perform with her at London's O2 arena.
"GaGa has always been a fan and now he's got his life back on track it's the perfect opportunity to do something with him," a source told The Sun.
Boy George was released four months into serving a 15-month sentence for imprisoning a male escort in May 2009.
GaGa has previously said that she wanted to be like Boy George during her younger years and explained that she "took a long time to be okay" with herself.
The popstar kicks off the UK leg of her 'Monster Ball' tour in Manchester on February 18.
