Mystery Jets for 'bagpipe-inspired' LP

The group told NME that the follow-up to 2008's Twenty One has seen the band embrace new musical pastures.
"We got a weird bagpipe player in," frontman Blaine Harrison said of the album's recording sessions. "We found him on Google, he was cheap. He came along and started playing the Star Wars theme on his midi bagpipes while wearing a penguin mask."
However, Harrison went on to explain that they eventually decided against including the bagpipe recordings on the album, which is being produced with Chris Thomas (Pink Floyd, Pulp, Sex Pistols) at London's British Grove Studios.
Tracks expected to feature on the group's third studio LP include 'Lorna Doone', 'Flash', 'Girl Is Gone', 'Skinny Jeanne' and 'Alice Springs'.
