The musician, who was the drummer in the band with George Harrison, John Lennon and Paul McCartney, said that he tried the game out but finds it too "frantic".
Starr told chatshow host Jimmy Fallon: "I'm absolutely c**p at it. We tried it when they were putting it together and they'd bring all these geniuses out to play it. It's too frantic for me.
"The graphics are great, I love the game and I love the music. But it's for young folk."
McCartney said of the game last year: "I lost twice. On Easy... and I was playing bass, I'm ashamed to say. It's all red and green and yellow buttons. I said, 'Can we start this again?'"
